Boulder Rethinks Adding Bike Lanes To 2 Streets

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder has halted plans to build more bike lanes -- at least for now.

The city just finished the new bike lanes on Folsom Street. Crews removed one lane in each direction to make room for them. City councilmembers have already received complaints over the traffic delays on the road now.

The original plan was to do the same thing on Iris Avenue and also on 63rd Street, but the Boulder Daily Camera reports the city will first evaluate how the bike lanes on Folsom are affecting traffic before building any more.
