CU Allows Drivers To Pay Off Parking Tickets With Food Donations

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The University of Colorado Boulder is bringing back a popular program called Food for Fines.

The university will let students and staff pay off parking fines by donating non perishable food for the Harvest of Hope Pantry.

Those fined will have to donate five items such as canned tuna, cereals and canned vegetables to "pay" off the fees.
