Boulder To Reinstate Disposable Bag Fee

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder's disposable bag fee will be re-implemented starting July 1. The fee had been suspended following the start of the coronavirus and fears of reusable bags possibly spreading the virus.

On Friday, the Boulder County Public Health Department stated reinstating the fee does not cause for health concerns.

The city further encouraged residents to wash reusable bags in hot water to help stop the spread of potential pathogens.
