Both Pro-Life & Pro-Choice Supporters Attend Vigil For Planned Parenthood Attack Victims

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - State pro-life groups gathered in Colorado Springs Sunday to honor the memory of the victims of the Planned Parenthood shootings in late November.

Those who gathered said prayers for people affected by the attack on Nov. 27. Organizers say the vigil was a chance for pro-life and pro-choice groups to come together in support of the community.

"We've had so many different groups come together and talk and share; and because we did extend our invitation to the Planned Parenthood employees that were affected by the tragedy, I think they all see that we are coming in a peaceful way, so I don't think we've seen any flack for that," a pro-life attendee said.

There were more than 60 people at the gathering.
