Body Of Man Found After He Jumped Into Clear Creek More Than 2 Months Ago

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- The body of a man who jumped into Clear Creek more than two months ago has finally been recovered.

Sean Duplessis, 39, and a friend jumped into the rushing water about 70th and Washington Street around midnight June 7. According to a co-worker, both men had been drinking.

Duplessis from Alberta, Canada, seemingly disappeared into the water. At the time, creek waters were too high to perform a complete search of the area.

Fishermen discovered Duplessis's body on Sunday 17 miles from where he initially jumped into the creek.

The Adams County Coroner's Office identified the body as that of Duplessis.

He was in Colorado on business when he was reported missing.
