Body Found At Gross Reservoir Appears To Have Been There For Months

DENVER (CBS4) - Deputies in Boulder County found a body near Gross Reservoir Saturday evening.

The body was reported around 6 p.m. A recovery effort was made Sunday morning.

"As the body was in a location difficult to get to, rescue workers waited until daylight to locate and investigate the scene," Brian Lindsey with the sheriff's office said in a statement.

A sergeant with the sheriff's office said the man's body appears to have been there for several months.

The coroner is trying to identify the body.
