Blue Green Algae Blooms Found At Bear Creek Reservoir In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- The Bear Creek Reservoir and Big Soda Lake in Lakewood has a blue green algae bloom which can be dangerous for pets. Big Soda Lake has a minor algae bloom so paddle boarding and swimming are still allowed for humans.
Swimming is never allowed at Bear Creek Reservoir and no water contact is advised for either pets or humans at this time.
