Blondes V. Brunettes Flag Football Game Raises Money For Alzheimer's

DENVER (CBS4)- Young women took to the field, divided into teams based on hair color, to raise money for the Young Professionals Alzheimer's Association of Colorado.

The Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football game was organized with the goal to raise $126,500. They met their fundraising goal by halftime.

While the game is certainly competitive, it's main goal is to raise money for Alzheimer's awareness and research. The money raised supports the
Alzheimer's Association of Colorado's counseling, education, 24-hour helpline, and support groups.

The blondes held off the brunettes to take the victory with the final score of 20-18.
