Black Hawk, Search & Rescue Teams Save Hiker From Avalanche

CUSTER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Custer County Search and Rescue team responded to a hiker who was carried in an avalanche on Horn Peak. The peak is east of Moffat.

A blackhawk from Buckley Air Force Base plucked the female patient from the mountain just after midnight on Sunday. Multiple search and rescue teams worked on the mission which finished at around 4 a.m.
