Bills & Jets 'Color Rush' Uniforms A Complete Eyesore For Everyone, Especially The Colorblind
DENVER (CBS4) - The game between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets was hard to watch, for reasons other than the game itself.
Both teams debuted unique, fluorescent-colored uniforms as part of the NFL's "Color Rush" campaign, as a way to spice up Thursday Night Football.
Unfortunately, the combination of bright red and bright green created chaos for viewers. Some considered it a Christmas nightmare, some were reminded of the Power Rangers, and color blind people literally could not distinguish the teams.

Red-green blindness is the most common form of color blindness, and 8% of men are affected according to the National Eye Institute.
So in last night's game, there were millions of viewers who could not tell the difference between the Jets and the Bills due to the uniform colors.

Some aren't too thrilled for the "Color Rush" in next week's Thursday night football, either:

The Denver Broncos do not play either the Jets or the Bills this season, and did not sport "Color Rush" uniforms on their Sept. 17 Thursday game.
