Bill Would Make It Easier For Non-Citizens In Colorado To Get Driver's Licenses

DENVER (CBS4) - A bill is being considered by the Colorado Legislature that would make it easier for non-citizens in Colorado to get a driver's license or identification card.

"Regardless of the color of your skin or your country of origin, everybody in Colorado deserves the same opportunity," said Rep. Jonathan Singer, D-Longmont.

Supporters say the bill will help the program keep up with overwhelming demand.
