Big Bust Uncovers Illegal Hash Lab, 70 Pounds Of Pot
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police busted an illegal marijuana operation and seized more than 70 pounds of pot as part of an undercover operation on Thursday and Friday.
John Pettit, 59, was arrested for felony distribution of marijuana after police found him with 24 pounds of pot.
His arrest led to a search warrant in Jefferson County where officers found an illegal grow facility that also housed a hash oil extraction lab and 500 marijuana plants.
Authorities also recovered 50 pounds of packaged pot and 20 firearms.
