Bernie Sanders To Return To Colorado

DENVER (CBS4) - As part of a coast-to-coast swing in the week before the close of the presidential election, Senator Bernie Sanders will stop in 12 states.

"I am working as hard as I can to see that Donald Trump is defeated, that Hillary Clinton is elected president and that the Democrats gain control of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate," Sanders said in a statement.

Sanders begins his coast-to-coast tour on Tuesday with a two get-out-the-vote rallies in New Hampshire, one at Plymouth State University and the other at Dartmouth College, before heading to Maine.

On Wednesday, Sanders will stop for rallies in both in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Leading up to Election Day next Tuesday, Sanders will also stop in Ohio, North Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska, Arizona, Nevada, California, and Colorado.

Details for his stops in all of those locations, including Colorado, have not yet been announced.
