Bennie Fowler Makes Impressive Special Teams Play For Broncos
CHICAGO (CBS4) - Broncos wide receiver Bennie Fowler told CBS4 in an interview during training camp that his role on special teams would be how he makes the Broncos final roster this season.

That prediction seems like a pretty good one after watching what he did in the first half of the Broncos preseason game in Chicago Thursday night.
With 1:49 left in the second quarter at Soldier Field, Fowler blocked a punt deep in Chicago territory and Bronco Zaire Anderson recovered it in the endzone for a touchdown.

It was the Broncos second score of the half, and a successful extra point brought the score of the game to 20-0, which wound up being the score when the half ended.
