Bank Robbery Forces Schools On Lockdown In Jefferson County

JEFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies in Jefferson County are looking for a man who robbed the FirstBank at 67th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard and prompted authorities to put area schools on lockdown.

The robbery prompted Jefferson County schools to put Deer Creek Middle School and Stony Creek and Dutch Creek elementary schools on lockout while deputies performed a perimeter search.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot-tall white male in his 20s with blond hair.
