Baby Okapi Will Stay Behind Scenes At Denver Zoo For A While

DENVER (CBS4)- The Denver Zoo is celebrating the birth of an endangered species. "Forest" the okapi was born Dec. 4.
The species is known as the Forest Giraffe or Zebra Giraffe.
Forest couldn't stand or nurse at first so he underwent a plasma transfusion to get the nutrients he needed.
He's doing much better now but will stay behind the scenes for a few more weeks before he makes his public debut.
