Avs Make Changes In Lineup For Playoff Game 4

DENVER (CBS4)- The Colorado Avalanche are making changes to the line up for Game 4 of the playoffs against Minnesota.

The Avs are up 2-1 over the Wild as they head into Game 4 in a best of seven series.

Defenseman Ryan Wilson will fill in for Tyson Barrie.

Rookie forward Joey Hishon was called up from Lake Erie. Hishon was the Avs No. 1 pick four years ago. Now he'll make his NHL debut in a playoff game.

"Patrick pulled me aside before practice and said, 'Don't ease into it, just play and be confident and work hard and everything will be fine' so that's what I'm trying to do," said Hishon.

"This is an opportunity for him. Joey's dream is to play in the NHL one day and here it is. Now he's having the chance to do it and with our situation I mean, why not?" said Avs Head Coach Patrick Roy.

The Avs take on the Wild for Game 4 on Thursday night in Minnesota.
