Aurora Teens Hurt In Shooting After Police Get Street Racing Emergency Call

(CBS4) - Aurora police are investigating a double shooting that happened late Sunday night. Two teens were shot and injured.

Authorities received an emergency call about street racers blocking the area of East Alameda Avenue and South Peoria Street where the shooting took place. The group was apparently also shooting off fireworks.

Responding officers found a teenage boy and a teenage girl who had been shot. Both are expected to survive.

As of daybreak on Monday, no arrests had been made.
