Aurora Police Looking For Kidnapping, Assault Suspect
AURORA, Colo (CBS4) Aurora Police Department's Major Crimes Unit is searching for a suspect in a possible kidnapping and assault case. The incident happened in the 500 block of Sable Blvd. at about 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Police are looking for Christopher Rimpson, a 47-year-old Hispanic man with a bald head. Investigators are also trying to locate a 1994 GMC Suburban with license plate, QFM-799, they say is linked to Rimpson.
Witnesses told police that they saw Rimpson assault and drag a female into the vehicle. The woman was identified as Brittney Fields, or Brittney Rimpson.
Police are calling it a possible kidnapping because they are unable to confirm exactly what happened between two, all information is coming from eyewitness reports.
