Aurora Police Investigate After Woman's Body Found
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora are investigating after a woman's body was found in an open space Friday morning.
Officers were called to the 500 block of North Chambers Road on a report of a deceased body at 11:15 a.m. Friday.
That's where the City of Aurora, Park and Open Spaces employees were conducting a routine cleanup of the wooded area east of North Chambers Road when they discovered the body and called police.
The homicide unit and crime scene investigators took over the investigation.
The cause of death will be determined by the Arapahoe County Coroner once the autopsy is complete and next of kin has been notified.
The identification of the deceased female has not been released.
