Annual Polar Plunge Kicks Off In Sub-Freezing Temperatures

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Multiple organizations and law enforcement agencies were on hand on Saturday to participate in the annual Aurora Polar Plunge.

Six inches of ice was cleared off the Aurora Reservoir so thousands of people could jump in.

Funds raised from the event will go toward the Special Olympics of Colorado.
