Aurora Teams Up With Land Trust To Develop Affordable Housing

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - The City of Aurora is working on creating more affordable housing options to balance out expensive home prices in the Denver metro area.

Aurora partnered with Elevation Community Land Trust. It will work on building homes for people living at or below 80% of the area median income.

Elevation will work with the city to buy or build homes in neighborhoods that are in need of more affordable housing options.

On Tuesday, they celebrated their first home sale.
