WATCH LIVE: Former Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson To Speak At 1 p.m.

(CBS4) - Former Aurora Police Chief Vanessa Wilson will be speaking publicly on Monday afternoon after she was fired last week.

Aurora's city manager said Wilson prioritized community involvement and didn't effectively manage the department.

Wilson's attorney said conservative members of the Aurora City Council organized a campaign to smear Wilson's reputation and that she was fired without cause.
