Attorney Accused Of Bilking Immigrants Expected At Trial

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A Boulder County immigration attorney accused of taking money from clients without doing any work is expected to go on trial this week.

Prosecutors say Emily Elizabeth Cohen collected thousands of dollars from immigrants. She allegedly claimed she could help them get visas and work permits for a fee but never delivered.

Some families paid Cohen more than $10,000. After they paid, investigators say Cohen would stop responding.

Prosecutors believe there are at least 50 possible victims.
