Attempted Kidnapping Suspect Arrested, Accused Of Approaching 2 Girls

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A man suspected of approaching two girls and grabbing one of them by the arm early Friday morning has been arrested on allegations of kidnapping charges.

Deputies with the Larimer County Sheriff's Office were contacted by the Cache La Poudre Elementary School about 8:40 a.m. on Friday about an attempted kidnapping.

Two girls, ages 8 and 10, told school officials they were walking to school along County Road 54G northwest of Cache La Poudre Elementary when they were approached by a man. The man spoke to them and then grabbed the 10-year-old girl by the arm. She broke free and both girls went to the school to alert the staff. Neither girl was injured.
