At The Half: Broncos Struggle, Chargers Dominate Time Of Possession
SAN DIEGO (CBS4) - The Broncos defense couldn't seem to keep the Chargers offense off the field on Thursday night in the first half.
The Chargers possessed the football for 20:27 of the half while the Broncos had the ball for only 9:33.
The score at the half is Chargers 10, Broncos 3.

The Broncos only score came in the second quarter -- a field goal by Brandon McManus. Denver wound up with more punts (3) than first downs (2) in the half.
Broncos Radio Network announcer Ed McCaffrey commented that the Broncos sideline seemed to be lacking some energy during the first half.
Maybe the Chargers offense is tired from being out there so much. 18 play drives must be exhausting. #4Broncos

The Broncos will start the second half on offense.
