Astronaut Who Studied In Colorado Returns To Earth

DENVER (CBS4)- An astronaut and graduate of the Air Force Academy, Colorado State University and University of Colorado has his feet back on solid ground.

Kjell Lindgren left the International Space Station with two other astronauts and they safely landed in Kazakhstan on Friday.

Three other astronauts will launch to the space station on Tuesday to take their places.

Lindgren joined the International Space Station in July. He shared his experiences with students at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in October as he was orbiting around the Earth.
