Arapahoe County Investigates Death Of Inmate

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office and coroner are investigating the death of an inmate held in the county jail's medical unit.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jeffrey Scott Lillis was found to be unresponsive Sunday evening and he was declared dead after efforts to revive him failed. The sheriff's office says it appears that Lillis may have died because of complications from a pre-existing medical condition.
