Animals Still Prominent In Frontier's Changed Look

DENVER (CBS4) - Only a day after Southwest Airlines unveiled its new look, Frontier Airlines is showing off its new planes.

And it's offering a one-day fare sale to celebrate.

Employees pulled an Airbus out of a hangar to show off the new paint scheme.

The logo is changing slightly, and is similar to the one introduced in 1978.

But those popular animals will stay on the plane.

In fact, they will now be featured on both the tail and on part of the fuselage.

"Everyone loves the animals, and we wouldn't get rid of them," Frontier President Barry Biffle said. "We're also not getting rid of our best asset, which is our employees. And you'll see them featured more in our new campaign."

Frontier offered select flights from Denver starting at $15 on Tuesday.
