Anadarko Petroleum Joins 'Wish For Wheels' To Make Bikes For Kids

DENVER (CBS4) - Two groups in the community have come together to help low-income children.

The nonprofit Wish for Wheels and Anadarko Petroleum helped build bikes for those children. They were outside Union Station Wednesday afternoon building 200 bikes which will be the first some of the children have ever had.

"We are just so happy to give back. Wish for Wheels does just such a wonderful job for kids. I think we can all remember back to maybe that first bike that we had and what a neat feeling that is," said Brad Holly, Anadarko Petroleum Senior Vice President. "Not everybody has an opportunity to have that."

The bikes will be delivered on Friday at multiple elementary schools in Weld County.
