Woman Arrested, Overnight Amber Alert Canceled

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - An Amber Alert that went into effect overnight is over, according to Fort Collins police.

Police said Lauren Perotti-Montgomery drove off when police confronted her at about 10:15 p.m. in Fort Collins. Her 5-year-old girl was in the car with her.

About five hours after the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued the alert, police announced the woman was under arrest in Fort Collins and the child was found with her and was safe.
