Fort Carson Soldier Spc. Alex Ram Dies In Syria

(CBS4) - A 20-year-old Fort Carson soldier has died in the Middle East. Spc. Alex Ram, who was from California, died on Tuesday from a non-combat related incident.
Department of Defense officials said the death is under investigation.
Ram, from Rancho Cucamonga, received several awards from the Army. He was serving a tour of duty in Syria as part of Operation Inherent Resolve with the goal of eliminating the terrorist group ISIS.
