Airline Leaves Colorado Airport Because Of Low Demand

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado Springs Airport is losing one of its airlines.

Allegiant Air provided Friday and Sunday flights to and from Las Vegas.

The low-fare carrier had been in Colorado Springs for 16 years, but it says there isn't enough demand to keep the flights going.

Frontier already offers daily flights between Colorado Springs and Las Vegas.

It's not clear when Allegiant's flights will stop.
