Air Force Won't Renew Andrea Williams' Contract

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - The Air Force Academy isn't renewing the contract of women's basketball coach Andrea Williams, who was 22-128 in five seasons with the Falcons.

Col. Tony McKenzie, interim athletic director, said a committee will be formed to conduct a national search for Williams' replacement. Her contract expires June 30.

The Falcons have long had a difficult time competing in women's basketball. They went 2-28 this season.
