After Dozens Of Offers, Overland's Davis Makes College Choice
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado's most heavily recruited high school basketball player perhaps since Chauncey Billups has chosen which college he will play for.
De'Ron Davis, a star at Overland High School, announced on Thursday that he has accepted an offer for a scholarship to play at Indiana University.
His decision had come down to the Hoosiers or the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
IU had been recruiting Davis since the 8th grade.

"The biggest difference for my family is my education is paid for," Davis told CBS4. "Everything that happens after that is just a blessing and it's a plus. My mom and me, we couldn't afford college, so me playing basketball gave me the outlet."
