Accidents Shut Down I-70 In Mountains During Storm
GEORGETOWN, Colo. (CBS4)- Several accidents caused Interstate 70 to be closed in both directions between Georgetown to Silverplume on Thursday morning.
Winter driving conditions contributed to those crashes along with people driving too fast for the conditions.
Several inches of snow fell in that area by Thursday morning creating icy and slick conditions.
