Pedestrian Bridge Will Be Demolished Despite Initial Plans

DENVER (CBS4)- Developers plan to tear down one of the last remnants of the old University Hospital. The pedestrian bridge on 9th Avenue near Colorado Boulevard had been used to connect the two sides of the hospital over the road.
Crews originally kept the bridge in hopes it could be worked into the redevelopment. Unfortunately, planners couldn't find a viable way to reuse it.
Demolition should happen in the next couple of weeks.
