6 In Western NY Charged In Denver-Buffalo Marijuana Ring
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Federal authorities say six western New York residents have been charged with being part of a drug ring that distributed marijuana between Colorado and Buffalo.
The U.S. Attorney's Office announced Wednesday that the suspects, all in their 20s and all from Buffalo, were named in an eight-count federal indictment charging them with conspiracy to distribution. Four of the suspects were also charged with conspiracy to launder money.

Prosecutors say the drug operation shipped, received and distributed more than 100 packages containing marijuana between Denver and Buffalo from this past April to September.
Officials say the suspects also sent the cash proceeds from the pot sales to the supplier in Denver.
The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
