4th Graders Visit History Colorado Center, Get Passes To Enjoy National Parks For Free

DENVER (CBS4) - Dozens of fourth-graders visiting the History Colorado Center got the gift of the great outdoors on Wednesday.

They all got passes to enjoy national parks for free. It's part of the Every Kid in a Park program. The goal is to introduce kids to nature and wildlife at an early age.

The passes can be used at more than 2,000 federally managed lands nationwide and are good for the 2015-2016 school year, until August 31, 2016.
