Police Investigate Homicide, Search For Suspect
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver investigated a homicide that happened in the Sunnyside neighborhood early Wednesday morning and are searching for a suspect.
Officers rushed to the scene at 40th Avenue and Shoshone early Wednesday. When they arrived, they found one man dead.
Police have not released a cause of death.
The Denver Police Department is searching for Elizario Herrera, Jr. He is wanted for first-degree murder in connection with the homicide.
Investigators closed off the entire block while gathering evidence. The victim has not been identified.
