3 Year Old Killed In Accidental Shooting
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A 3-year-old boy is dead after a gun accidentally went off in Steamboat Springs.
The newspaper the Steamboat Pilot And Today reports the victim is a police officer's son. A spokesperson for the department said, "We are deeply saddened at the loss of one of our officer's family members. We will continue to support the officer and his family through this difficult time."
The circumstances around the shooting haven't been released.
The Routt County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.
