3 Suspects Arrested In Englewood High Vandalism Case

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Englewood arrested three people in connection with last weekend's vandalism at Englewood High School.

The school was vandalized in the early morning hours of Jan. 12. Police say the suspects broke windows, trashed classrooms and started small fires. Damage is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars.

Police arrested Michael Alan Trickel, 23, Anthony Ryan Meany, 25, and Chad Delgadillo, 28, on Friday.

Police are holding the suspects at the Arapahoe County Detention Facility on suspicion of burglary, arson and criminal mischief. Police are awaiting official charges from the Arapahoe Co. District Attorney's Office.

Police said the trio entered through part of the school being renovated that included a demolition are on the school campus.

Once inside they broke windows into a computer lab, damaging furniture, walls and electronic equipment.

The most destruction happened inside a music room. Multiple instruments including pianos and brass horns were destroyed.

The men then started fires inside. They ran when the fire alarm went off.
