3 More Cases Of Human West Nile In Colorado, Still No Deaths
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - More human cases of the West Nile virus along the Front Range have been announced.
Boulder County reported three new cases on Monday. They happened in Superior, Longmont and Gunbarrel. The patients are between the ages of 41 and 66 and are all recovering at home.
At least 20 people have gotten West Nile in Colorado this season and that number is expected to go up.
So far there are no deaths from West Nile this season.
Larimer County says they're now publishing online test results of mosquito traps so that residents can see if mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile in their neighborhoods.

- DRAIN standing water around your house weekly. Remember to drain water from tires, cans, flowerpots, clogged rain gutters, rain barrels, toys and puddles.
- DUSK and DAWN are when mosquitoes are most active. Limit outdoor activities and take precautions to prevent mosquito bites during these times.
- DEET is an effective ingredient to look for in insect repellents. Always follow label instructions carefully.
- DRESS in long sleeves and pants in areas where mosquitoes are active.
