3 Families Out Of A Home After Apartment Fire In Northglenn

NORTHGLENN, Colo. (CBS4) - A fire forced three families out of their homes in Northglenn Friday night.

The fire broke out at an apartment complex located near 120th Avenue and Washington Street.

CBS4 viewer Marina Churkovich sent pictures after the fire started. She says she heard propane tanks on the apartment balcony explode and saw children trying to throw buckets of water on the flames.

Firefighters were able to knock the fire out within minutes.

Nobody was injured.

The fire damaged six apartment units.

The cause is under investigation.
