245 Pot Plants Seized In Illegal Grow Bust

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4)- An illegal marijuana grow operation was busted in Pueblo County and authorities seized 245 pot plants with a street value of $247,000.

Pueblo County Sheriff's deputies seized the plants and arrested one person on Monday night in connection with the illegal grow operation discovered off Colorado Highway 78 in southwestern Pueblo County.

Sheriff's deputies received a complaint about the possible illegal grow on the property at 4611 Rock Creek Road. During the investigation, deputies discovered Bradley William Glavin, 30, was growing marijuana in a foundation of a basement of an unfinished home in two greenhouses.

Deputies also discovered Glavin was living in a fifth-wheel trailer on the property.

Investigators said he did not have the paperwork to substantiate a marijuana grow. They confiscated the plants and three pounds of dried product along with growing lights.

Detectives found 251 plants on the property but left six marijuana plants as allowed by state law.

Glavin was arrested on charges of marijuana possession with intent to manufacture and cultivation of marijuana.
