22 Bison Put Up For Auction
GENESEE Park, Colo. (CBS4) - Twenty-two young bison were up for auction Friday.
The property manager at the Genesee Bison Ranch says there's only so much land to hold all of the bison they have, so some needed to be auctioned off.
A typical bison brings in about three to five thousand dollars.
Organizers say the annual event attracts bidders from all over the country, which helps the ranch's bottom line.
