2015 'One Book 4 Colorado' Kicks Off With New Book

DENVER (CBS4) - The state announced its pick for the One Book 4 Colorado campaign on Monday.

Colorado will put more than 75,000 free books in the hands of 4 year olds across the state.

The book selected for this year is called "How Do Dinosaurs Get Well Soon?" by Jane Yolen.

Gov. John Hickenlooper along with the Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia celebrated the announcement by reading the book to a group of children.

The annual campaign aims to encourage parents to read aloud to their children during early stages of development.
