2 Rock Slides In Less Than 24 Hours On Highway 24 Near Manitou Springs
MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - For the second time in less than a day rocks came crashing down on the same spot of Highway 24 near Manitou Springs.
The latest slide happened on Sunday. It was smaller than the first one and nobody was hit. But on Saturday night a rock slide smashed into a car with two people inside. They were okay but their car was damaged.
Colorado Department of Transportation crews cleared the highway and put up signs warning drivers to keep an eye out for falling rocks.
