2 Men Shot, Denver Police Search For Gunman

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver were searching for a gunman and a motive after two men were shot early Sunday morning at a convenience store.

Officers rushed to the 7-Eleven store at 8775 E. Montview just before 5 a.m. on reports of a shooting.

When police arrived they found two men who had been shot. Both suffered from what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Their vehicle was parked at a gas pump and had to be towed away.

Police are investigating the incident and interviewing both the victims and witnesses. Detectives are trying to figure out what led to the shooting.

Police are looking for a green Chevy Lumina with an unknown temporary tag in the upper right corner of the rear window. The suspect vehicle was driven by a white female with shoulder-length hair, wearing a white sweater or sweatshirt.

The shooter is described as a heavy-set black male wearing a black jacket and baseball cap. He was last seen running from the 7-Eleven on foot.
