2 Killed When Motorcycle Crashes Into Semi

FORT LUPTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Two people riding a motorcycle were killed on Friday after after they crashed into a semi on Highway 85.

It happened at Hwy. 85 and Weld County Road 18 in Fort Lupton.

Officers said the motorcycle slid in front of the truck, went underneath and ruptured the motorcycle's fuel tank.

Both the motorcycle and the semi were involved in an explosion. The man and woman on the motorcycle were killed, the semi driver survived.
